The Forget-Me-Not Drop Earrings

There is an old story behind this color exactly, a knight reaching for a small blue flower at the water's edge, calling forget me not as the current took him under, and the flower keeping the name ever since. Coleridge wrote his own version of it, and English gardens have grown the flower to prove the story true. This earring translates it directly: a deep teal-blue bloom, glossy and curled at the edges, a tiny second bud caught mid-open beside it, olive leaves trailing down to a single round pearl.
It carries the same quiet insistence as the legend, small, deliberate, easy to overlook until you know what it is asking. The teal reads almost black in low light and startlingly blue in the sun.
