Keats built an entire ode around the idea that a scene carved into stone stays perfect because it never has to move again, and this bracelet carries its own small carved scene the same way the Grecian Urn Ring does. A rectangular green glass stone, worked with a detailed figure in relief, sits framed in an ornate gold setting scattered with small red stones, connected on either side to a pair of winged mythical creatures worked into the chain itself.
At just over fifty grams it has real weight and presence, an antique, well-handled finish rather than a bright polished one, closing with a simple lobster clasp.
