The Ophelia Necklace

Pearl, in The Scarlet Letter, spends half her childhood making herself crowns and garlands out of whatever the forest offers her, wild and a little untamed even in her decoration. This necklace is the grown-up version of that same instinct: small gold leaves and clusters of tiny pearls, woven together into one continuous vine, dense enough to read as a proper garland rather than a simple chain.
It sits close to the throat, worn the way a wreath is worn, all the way around rather than hanging from a single point. The pearls catch light in small clusters instead of one obvious focal pearl, so the whole piece glows evenly rather than drawing the eye to one spot.
Wear it for the parts of yourself that never fully agreed to behave.
