Pearl, in The Scarlet Letter, is described more than once as decked in whatever the forest happened to offer that day, flowers, leaves, whatever came to hand, worn without any real plan. This ring has that same gathered quality: a central pearl surrounded by small green stones and smaller pearls, all set into an antique gold band with vine-like detailing running between the settings.
It is the third piece in this small family, after the Hester Bloom Stud Earrings and the Pearl Garland Necklace, and reads clearly as part of the same set without matching any of them exactly.
Wear all three together, or let this one stand in for the whole story on its own.
