Gather ye rosebuds while ye may, Herrick wrote, Old Time is still a-flying, and this choker takes the instruction almost literally: dozens of small five-petaled blossoms linked edge to edge into one continuous garland, worn close enough to the throat that it reads as gathered rather than draped.
There is no single focal point, no one flower more important than the next, just an unbroken run of them all the way around. It closes with a simple lobster clasp and a short extender, so it sits snug rather than loose.
Wear it now. Herrick's whole point was that flowers, and moments, do not keep. This one at least will.
